Cylinder Head Gaskets

The club is currently experiencing difficulty in acquiring Mayflower head gaskets: our current manufacture in New Zealand is closing due to retirement and Paul’s supply of NOS gaskets has dried-up.
F W Thornton can supply new gaskets at about £80 plus shipping, but one member who bought one was not impressed with the quality, especially as the copper rings were missing. Paul can supply Standard Flying 10 head gaskets for £20 + p&p, and these are identical except for the oil filler aperture (it is round instead of ‘D’ shaped). If anyone knows of a source for Mayflower head gaskets, please let Paul know (pburgess1956@gmail.com).
